On June 1, 2025, the first training on Wikipedia for young people was held at the "SARAL Development and Education Center". The training was conducted by Aytekin Allahverdiyeva, an active member of the "Wiki Club Marneuli". Active members will be able to join the "Wiki Club SARAL", which will start operating in the village of Yukhar Saral in the near future.
The goal of the project is to make information about Azerbaijani and Georgian culture, history, art, etc. accessible to Azerbaijani and Georgian-speaking users of Wikipedia. According to the project, young people will create or translate articles on various topics in Wikipedia in both Azerbaijani and Georgian.
The project has been ongoing for six years, based on the memorandum signed between "Wikimedia UG Georgia" and the "Development and Education Center" on October 6, 2019.
