Members of the "Tea House" chess club Gasim Aliyev, Tajir Allahverdiyev and Turaj Hasanov participated in the "U-20 Georgian Championship" held at the "Georgia Chess Federation" in Tbilisi on January 18-27, 2024. 34 chess players took part in the competition held with the participation of experienced FIDE masters and rated chess players. In the competition, Gasim Aliyev scored 4.5 points, Tajir Allahverdiyev and Turaj Hasanov scored 3 points each and successfully completed the II degree and qualified for the I degree competitions. Young chess players participated in the competition under the coaching of Roman Chitadze and David Khizanishvili.
