Nizami Ganjavi Night at Tea House/Exhibition/Borchali Carpet

On December 7, 2025, an event was held at Tea House within the framework of the “Creative and Cultural Dialogue” project, organized by the “Development and Education Center” and the “Women’s Alliance for Development”.
The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
As part of the event, the paintings of the artist Shota Maglakelidze were exhibited, a ceremony of cutting 7 small and medium-sized carpets prepared by the carpet weaving course operating at Tea House took place, and an artistic evening dedicated to the work of Nizami Ganjavi was held. At the artistic evening, members of the Georgian language course of Tea House Naira Yusubova and Amina Ashirova recited poems, Nurlan Khansultanov performed on the saz, and Shahvalad Cherpanov, a member of the Tea House piano course, performed on the piano. Also, members of the Buta dance ensemble operating at the Tea House performed the “Nalbeki” dance, and members of the Bolnisi “Bright Future” Youth Center performed a performance based on Nizami Ganjavi’s “Treasure of Secrets.”
