On October 31, 2025, chess courses were launched at the "Kur Educational Center" operating in the village of Keshali, Marneuli Municipality. Within the framework of the "Chess Club" project operating in the center, chess lessons, competitions, master classes will be organized, and students will also participate in the degree competitions of the "Georgian Chess Federation". The "Chess Club" project is a joint project of the "Kur Educational Center" and the "Development and Education Center". At the first lesson of the club, a minor member of the "Tea House" chess club, Timur Kalayev, gave students information about chess, moves, etc., and the first game was symbolically played.
24 children and teenagers are participating in the club at the initial stage. The lessons are free of charge. Chess lessons will be held under the leadership of Namig Huseyno
