On November 26, 2024, an event dedicated to the National Kalaghay Day was held at the Tea House, organized by the "Development and Education Center" and the "Mirvarid Dilbazi Poetry Assembly". In his speech, the head of the "Development and Education Center" Emin Ahmadov congratulated the participants on the National Kalaghay Day, emphasized that the celebration of this day outside of Azerbaijan plays a great role in the promotion of art, and spoke about the future activities of the "Kalaghay Corner". Then, Nurlana Mammadova and Savalan Osmanli, representatives of the "Mirvarid Dilbazi Poetry Assembly" in Georgia, spoke about the importance of preserving national cultural values and passing them on to future generations. Then, Samra Hasanova and Amina Ahmadova provided extensive information about the types of Azerbaijani Kalaghay and its ancient history. The event was hosted by Arzu Aliyeva. Finally, the "National Kalaghay Corner" created at the Tea House was opened.
The participants got acquainted with books dedicated to the art of kelaghayi, 50 ancient and modern kelaghayis in the corner.
