A children's and youth chess tournament was held at the Tea House

On December 20, 2024, a chess tournament was held at the "Tea House" among the members of the chess course, organized by the "Development and Education Center", in two categories: experienced and new participants. The goal of the tournament was to encourage new members and gain practical experience in such competitions.
In total, the competition, consisting of V rounds, took place with the participation of 23 chess players.
In the category of chess players consisting of new members,
Eyyub Karimov won 1st place with 4 points,
Gagulik Mirakyan won 2nd place with 3.5 points, and Sanir Aslanov won 3rd place with 3.5 points.
In the competition of experienced chess players, Timur Kalayev won 1st place with 4 points,
Ayhan Askerov won 2nd place with 4 points, and Amar Nasibov won 3rd place with 3.5 points.
The winners were awarded diplomas and medals.
The competition was organized by "Tea House" graduates, head of the chess course Jahandar Bayramov, Tacir Allahverdiyev and Turaj Hasanov.
